STOPPERS OF TOPEKA INC. CRIMESTOPPERS REPORT Shawnee County Sheriff’s detectives are attempting to identify an unknown white male subject who was caught on video surveillance December 28, 2009 regarding a Forgery \ Theft at the North Topeka Wal-Mart. This suspect has possibly been involved in more that one Forgery and Theft in the Topeka area. He is described as a white male late 30’s with brown hair and between 5’10” and 6’00” weighing 160 to 180 lbs.In the Wal-Mart store camera tape, he wore a dark jacket with a white logo on the left side.

CRIMESTOPPERS REPORT Topeka Police Department detectives are attempting to identify an unknown black male subject who was caught on video surveillance during an armed robbery at the Scotch Cleaners 2801 SE California Ave Topeka. This suspect has possibly been involved in more that one robbery in Topeka and has been armed with an automatic handgun.
In these robberies the suspect is described as a black malebetween 5’08” and 6’00” weighing 160 to 180 lbs. He is described as wearing a kaki coat (which in viewing the video it would appear to be a Carhartt jacket) or a black nylon coat and always has some type of ski mask or scarf around his face, jeans and either black boots or tan boots with rounded toe. These three suspects are wanted for questioning regarding a felony theft and illegal use of a financial card incident. All three of these women are believed to be around 20 years of age. The most recent robbery occurred on January 25, 2010 at the Walgreens, 29th and SW Gage Blvd. The black male suspect is described as five feet ten inches tall, corn row hair and a tear drop tattoo under his left eye. The Suspect threatened the clerk with a gun during each robbery.

A large quantity of cigarettes was taken from the business during this burglary. The suspect was driving a dark blue 2001 -2005 model Ford extended cab pick up truck. This subject had what appears to be rubber work boots between the bed and cab of the truck much like a possible construction worker. Anyone knowing a subject who drives this type of truck and or matches this description is asked to call Crime Stoppers.

STOPPERS REPORT Topeka Police Department detectives are attempting to identify a white female suspect who entered an unlocked vehicle in front of the Kelly’s Express station at 10th and Wanamaker on October 16, 2009. This suspect took a women’s purse and personal items from the vehicle. Anyone who may know the suspect involved in this vehicle burglary, or can identify the owner of the vehicle the suspect was riding in, a Silver Chrysler mini van with what appears to be an Osage county Kansas tag, is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Cold Case ReleaseWednesday, November 18, 2009 The Shawnee County Sheriff’s office is currently re-opening the investigation into the death of Tirell Ocobock which occurred on April 26, 1976. The case was initially investigated by the Capitol Area Major Case Squad commencing with the discovery of Ms. Ocobock near 2nd and Urish. The Kansas Bureau of Investigations and the Shawnee County Sheriff’s office has investigated the case throughout the years following up on leads. To date approximately 150 leads have been investigated by the KBI and\or the Shawnee County Sheriff’s office. The Shawnee County Sheriff’s office would appreciate any assistance in resolving the untimely death of Tirell Ocobock, w/f age 18. Anyone with information is asked to please contact Sgt.
